The first cheque from the Skene Trust was issued to Leslie Community Council this week. The fund was established in 2006 to benefit the community of Leslie.
 £20,000 per year is paid into the Trust by Skene Group and the Trustees meet regularly to consider applications. The cheque, for £7,200, will partly fund CCTV cameras for Leslie and contribute to Leslie Gala. Applications from groups and individuals in Leslie should be addressed to the Trustees, Skene House, Viewfield Road Viewfield industrial Estate, Glenrothes KY6 2RD.
