A number of weeks ago we told you about our work at Tanfield House in Edinburgh. The job has been progressing since then and we thought that now would be a good time to bring you up to date.
One of the most distinctive features of the building are the domes on the roof and these are to be retained, which has meant that we have to work around them in order to 'open up' the rest of the roof area.

Behind the scenes, extensive support is required for the roof.
Inside, the building has been transformed just as dramatically.
The staircase had to be removed while all of the surrounding features were retained.

Our work at Tanfield House will soon be coming to an end and the main contractor, Sir Robert McAlpine Limited, have expressed their complete satisfaction with the work we've carried out on their behalf.
It goes without saying that we wish them all the best for the remainder of the project.
